We're currently traveling in the United States, but I wanted to post about something Josh and I discussed recently while hiking in Big Bend National Park.
As you likely know, my husband and I struggle with infertility. For me, one of the most difficult parts of the challenge we face has been talking about it with others.
Who do I share details with?
What should I share?

Why do I feel the need to share?
How will everyone react?
Communicating about a challenge you're facing is never easy, but putting yourself out there and connecting with people can, and often does, provide much needed support.
Brené Brown, a research professor at the University of Houston's Graduate College of Social Work, and author of "Rising Strong" and "Daring Greatly," among others, teaches that vulnerability provides opportunity for genuine human connection.
